This Privacy Policy describes how Pizza Party Calculator(“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Information you enter into the calculator.Guest counts, appetite settings, toppings, and notes are processed in your browser. When you save a plan, it is stored in your browser's local storage on your device — we do not operate a user account database that stores those plans on our servers.
- Shareable plan links. If you use the copy-link feature, the plan parameters are encoded in the URL. Anyone who receives that link can see those parameters; treat shared links as public to the people you send them to.
- No accounts. We do not require registration and do not collect names, passwords, or payment information.
- Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
Your choices (consent)
Use Cookie preferences in the site footer (or the banner that appears when optional vendors are configured) to accept, reject, or customize optional analytics and advertising. Necessary browser storage for calculator plans, theme, and your consent record does not require a choice. Optional scripts load only after you allow them and the corresponding vendor is configured for that deployment.
Analytics
We may load Google Analytics only when a measurement ID is configured for a given deployment and you have allowed analytics in Cookie preferences. When analytics are not configured or not allowed, no analytics script is loaded for that purpose.
Cookies and advertising
Advertising is not currently enabled on the live site by default (NEXT_PUBLIC_ADS_ENABLED must be turned on in the deployment). When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense loads only after you allow advertising in Cookie preferences.
If advertising is enabled and allowed, third-party vendors (including Google) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, and — where personalized advertising is used — may show ads based on prior visits to this and other sites.
- When ads are enabled, Google's use of advertising cookies may enable it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

Local storage
The plan-saving feature uses your browser's local storage. Saved plans stay on your device unless you clear them with the “Clear plan” button, clear site data in your browser, or choose to share a plan link (which puts parameters in the URL). Local storage alone does not send your plan to our servers.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. When advertising or analytics status changes, we will update this page to match the deployed stack.
