Pizza Party Calculator started with a familiar problem: someone is put in charge of feeding a group — a birthday, an office lunch, a team celebration — and has no idea how much to order. Order too little and people go hungry; order too much and money goes in the trash. We built this calculator to turn that stressful guess into a quick, confident plan.
Who operates this site
Pizza Party Calculator is built and operated by doubleM. Methodology and content are maintained by the doubleM product team. Questions, bug reports, and feedback go to hello@doublem.ca or our contact page.
What we do
Our pizza calculatorestimates how many pizzas, slices, drinks, and sides you need based on who's coming and how hungry they are. Instead of a single number, it gives you a sensible range and a suggested topping split, then lets you print a one-page order sheet or save your plan for later.
How we build our estimates
Recommendations use GuestSlice planning defaults — for example 3 baseline slices per adult, 2 per child, and 4 per teen — plus multipliers for appetite, sides, and leftovers. Those values are editorial assumptions for ordering, not measured population averages. We publish the exact multipliers, rounding rules, and drink derivations in the methodology section on the home page (last reviewed July 19, 2026) so you can reproduce the output and override any control.
Examples on this site are illustrative calculations with declared inputs. They are not customer case studies, restaurant field tests, or guarantees that a specific order will feed a group.

- Practical, not preachy. Clear estimates and plain language, with the math available when you want it.
Advertising
Display advertising is not currently enabled on the live site. If we enable ads later (for example via Google AdSense), they will appear around — never inside — the calculator, and our Privacy Policy will describe the vendors and choices available at that time.
